Halal Travel Training Session

In partnership with CrescentRating, Halal Safaris Africa is conducting a free online session on halal travel to help tourism stakeholders in Kenya mitigate against the negative impacts of COVID by attracting new source markets.

There is now a need to seek out new markets and find alternative ways of earning revenue. We are therefore offering training to tourism stakeholders, hotels and tour operators in Kenya to help them diversify and access the global and local Muslim travel markets.

“The Halal Travel Training” was held on Thursday, Oct 15, 2020, 9am (EAT) on Zoom and includes an introduction to the global halal market, understanding halal travel in Kenya, and gaining insights on the Muslim travel market needs and requirements considering the sector is continuing to be one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world.

The session featured prominent speakers in the international halal tourism industry including Fazal Bahardeen, Founder & CEO, CrescentRating and Nurul Ain Azhar, Curriculum Manager & Partner Engagement Lead at CrescentRating Academy.
