We are proud that Halal Safaris Director and Founder, Samia Omar Bwana, was selected as one of the team members to help undertake an independent study together with the Institute for Research and Policy Alternatives on — A Human Rights Observations & Risk Assessment of Community Conservancies in Kenya, supported by the Nature Conservancy.
The study was undertaken through interviews and observation study across the country to detail the human rights effects and impacts from the establishment and operations of conservancies on communities. The final study report can be in the link below:
