My host and guide (Samia) introduced my husband and I to “what life is about” in the unspoilt islands of Lamu and Pate. It was an unforgettable experience staying in Lamu Island. It was like entering a time warp depending which part of the island you are visiting. The archipelago has lots to offer – from living “like in the past” to living in the present. For example, you fly in to an island, then you travel by speed boat to your place of stay, then you can walk or ride a donkey to get around…. From basic amenities to modern facilities, what a way to remember the good old ways. There are ruins to visit, lovely beaches, local foods or international cuisines….take your pick. You can do as much as you like or just relax. Enjoy sunrise and sunset in a sailing boat or sit out at your balcony or beach. The islands offer many interesting activities to cater to the young and the matured and to your taste. Seriously, you need to go visit this place to experience it once in your lifetime! I am confident that you will enjoy what the team can do for you in meeting your needs if you choose to go visit Kenya. Enjoy.
